The inaugural edition of the mySTARTupYATRA Startup Premier League (MSPL) 1.0 concluded on a high note, bringing together startups, IT companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across Odisha for three days of cricket, networking, and collaboration.
Designed as a unique initiative to strengthen connections within the startup ecosystem, MSPL 1.0 successfully transformed the cricket field into a platform for relationship-building, teamwork, and community engagement.

The tournament featured participation from 16 IT and ITES teams, representing some of the region’s most dynamic startups and technology companies. Throughout the event, participants showcased not only their cricketing skills but also the spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship that drives successful entrepreneurial communities.
The matches attracted enthusiastic support from startup founders, employees, technology professionals, and business leaders, making the tournament one of the most engaging startup community events in Odisha this year.
Team Lightwave Lifts the Trophy
After a series of exciting and competitive matches, Team Lightwave emerged as the champions of the inaugural Startup Premier League.

While Team Lightwave showcased exceptional performance throughout the tournament, Team Webzin Infotech delivered a strong campaign to secure the runners-up position. Team Softnet earned special recognition for demonstrating outstanding discipline, integrity, and sportsmanship.
Distinguished Guests Grace the Closing Ceremony
The grand finale and prize distribution ceremony were attended by Hon’ble MLA Shri Babu Singh and RID 3262 District Governor Rtn. Manoj Tripathy.
Addressing the participants, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of sports in developing leadership qualities, teamwork, communication, and professional networking. They congratulated all participating teams and appreciated the efforts of the organizers in creating a meaningful platform for the startup community.
